JR East Smart Logistics Co., Ltd. was established in July 2023, and aspires to turn stations into logistics bases.

Until now, lockers at stations were mainly used for storing luggage. Due to the development of e-commerce, however, the increased need for convenience in receiving and shipping packages has altered expectations. To accommodate these new desires, we have expanded locker functions by enabling customers to check availability, reserve, receive and send, as well as store.

As exemplified by the "2024 problem," a serious delivery worker shortage is expected in the future. We aim for more efficient and environmentally friendly transportation by taking advantage of the logistics already possessed by the JR-EAST Group.

We aim to make the JR East stations, used by many customers every day, more convenient with our multi-function lockers. In the near future, we hope to utilize our lockers to make life easier for customers by starting a prescription pick-up service, and a package pick-up service even during hours when station buildings are closed.

Furthermore, we hope our boosted function lockers will attract more business partners in addition to the JR East stations. Through collaboration with various associates, we hope to contribute further to customer life satisfaction and a thriving society. We humbly request your support.
